P3 & P4 Subjects
English: From Literacy to Articulation
(2 hours each lesson)
In P3 and P4, we shift the focus toward mastering the nuances of the MOE syllabus. We deepen reading comprehension by teaching students how to "read between the lines" and identify contextual clues. We prepare students for more rigorous school assessments while maintaining their love for the language.
Mathematics: The Mastery of Heuristics
(2 hours each lesson)
As the curriculum introduces more complex topics like Fractions, Decimals, and Area/Perimeter, we continue to utilise the CPA (Concrete, Pictorial, Abstract) approach. We place a heavy emphasis on Number Sense and Model Drawing, transforming word problems from intimidating blocks of text into manageable visual puzzles. We use manipulative tools to help students transition from basic calculation to sophisticated problem-solving.
Science: The Inquiry-Based Explorer
(2 hours each lesson)
Our P3 and P4 Science program is rooted in the Experimental & Inquiry-based approach. We don't just teach facts; we teach the Scientific Method.
Hands-on Experiments: Students engage in live experiments to observe life cycles, matter, and energy in real time.
CER Framework: We train students to answer open-ended questions using the Claim, Evidence, and Reasoning technique, ensuring they hit the specific keywords required by MOE markers.
Process Skills: From making careful observations to identifying variables, we turn young learners into junior scientists who ask "why" and "how."
